SRGS Edge Chakra
At SRGS we have special programs that make us different from other schools they are our USP's. SRGS edge chakra is our foundation base of the school .We have different special programs details are given below of each and every program of our SRGS edge chakra.
Class Assembly Program
We have a Class Assembly Program. It has different levels 1.) Class level, 2.) Wing level and 3.) School level. Every child get the turn to speak/perform in assembly. It ensures 100% Participation.
Udaan
It's a SIP (School Integration Program) for class 9 -12. There are two modules for the students ie. Advanced and Standard module. Proper balance is maintained between regular curriculum & Competitive exam preparation.
Leadership Champ
It's a 2-3 days program with outstation camp. They
have different modules full of fun activities to
develop leadership quality in students. There are no
PPTs and lectures in it , Only games & Activities
are there to perform. There is also a Physical
Endurance test like SSB. In evening there is a
talent show.
Students grow a couple of inches after this
experience.
Right Brain Development Program
Poor Grades at School are generally the result of poorly functioning Left Brain. Children differ in terms of Left Brain capabilities, some will be better than others. But every child possesses the potential genius talent of the Right Brain. In terms of the Right Brain everyone is equal. This right Brain is nurtured through trained teachers to build observation, memory, intuition & concentration.
Subject Week
Learning is a life-long adventure and when it is fun filled, it doesn’t appear like work but something that learners would look forward to. One of the many ways in which learning is made fun and joyful for the students at SRGS is by organizing Subject Weeks.We conduct different activities in subject like role play, bingo, puzzles, creative writing, gaming, nukkad nataks, posters, etc.
PD(Personality Development) Classes
At SRGS we have proper PD(Personality Development) Classes. Euipping the child with life skills such as communication skills, anger management skills, phone etiquettes, dressing right for occasion personal hygiene, concentration , appreciative interpersonal skills etc.
Teacher Training Module
At SRGS we have a 360° appraisal system. We conduct annual subject test for teachers in the month of May/June. They are also assessed on English Communication, IT skills and General English. Their class observation and copy correction scores are also added. Based on their performance, training modules are assigned to them.
AFSD( Action For Sustainable Development)
AFSD( Action For Sustainable Development) is annual flagship program of SRGS. It provides a platform to school children in India and aboard to implement UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
